Mark Snow is one of my favorite composers. He’s been knocking around the film- and TV-music business a lot longer than I’ve been writing about it. The release of the first X-Files movie was a great opportunity to spend time with Mark, talking about the series’ all-synth scores and the need for a big orchestra for the big-screen version.
